Van Leeuwen Wheeler has introduced a new express service for hydraulic engineers. From a dedicated trade counter at its Brierley Hill warehouse in the West Midlands, the company is offering a same day collection or overnight despatch service for chrome bar. The service is geared to hydraulic engineers who need to source chrome-plated bar quickly for urgent repairs or special cylinders. The trade counter facility has its own dedicated staff and resources, including specialist cutting and lifting equipment. This development marks the latest investment by the Dutch-owned company in its UK warehousing and processing facilities. With substantially increased stockholding capacity, Van Leeuwen Wheeler has substantially increased its range of fluid power products and has the capability to support both OEMs and repair and maintenance businesses. The trade counter service applies initially to chrome bar, although Van Leeuwen Wheeler is also able to process cylinder tube on short delivery times for smaller or one-off requirements.
