IPP Group has acquired Scomark Pipe Fittings International (SPI) a specialist manufacturer of BW fittings to the oil, gas, chemical, power and nuclear industries. The acquisition which was sealed on 18 July will help expand the IPP Groups core activities, that of fast urgent delivery of piping products. SPI has been manufacturing for 12 years and hold the coveted M650 approval for supply into the Norwiegen market. It also has recently acquired Nuclear approval. SPI bread and butter business is the manufacture of pipefittings in duplex, Super Duplex and nickel alloy as well as all stainless steel grades, titanium, aluminum and copper. SPI will now have access to all of IPP Groups duplex and super duplex stocks of pipe raw material.
