Weir Materials has announced that it has been bought by Rolled Alloys and will trade as RA Materials. Rolled Alloys was founded on the introduction of wrought RA330 alloy as a replacement for cast HT alloy in the commercial heat treat industry. Weir Materials and Foundries specialise in the manufacture of corrosion resistant stainless steel pipe work system products and components. Mainly serving the oil and gas and marine industries, WMF stock and distribute Zeron® 100 super duplex stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges, bars and plates as individual components or as project managed pipe work packages.
