New for the ORBIWELD range of enclosed orbital TIG weld heads is a Tungsten Off Set Adaptor which has been introduced to enable short stub fittings to be welded with ease. The Tungsten Off Set Adaptor can be used with standard equipment to weld short stub fittings. If fittings with no straight at all are to be welded then a set of inverted collets can also be supplied, this allows even schedule pipe minimum radius fittings to be welded. For fittings of obscure shapes, such as those used in the aerospace industry a unique extended collet set can be supplied which allows any fitting to be welded even with minimum straight on the tube.
