The organizers of the Duplex World Seminar & Summit are pleased to announce that the 2018 Chairman is Mr David Barber, Global Improvement Leader of the Materials Engineering Discipline at The Dow Chemical Company. In his 28 years with Dow, Mr Barber has held numerous positions including High Temperature Materials Technical Resource Leader, Welding Technical Resource Leader and Global Welding Subject Matter Expert. He is Dow’s Designated Representative to the Materials Technology Institute (MTI) as well as Champion of the Metals Project Development Committee and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of NACE and the American Welding Society. His current responsibilities include ownership of Dow’s engineering specifications for a wide range of metallic and non-metallic materials including duplex stainless steels, as well as the engineering specifications for welding and fabricating metallic materials including duplex stainless steels.
Duplex World will next take place 9 & 10 October 2018 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
