Outokumpu has delivered duplex stainless steel rebar to the construction of the traffic route Norra Länken in Stockholm, Sweden. Norra Länken is a large infrastructure investment in a new traffic route around the northern parts of central Stockholm.
The purpose is to reduce traffic and improve the environment in the city centre. The Swedish construction company Skanska has ordered some 300tns of Outokumpu LDX 2101 duplex stainless steel rebar to be used in a viaduct. The rebar is produced at Outokumpu’s plant in Sheffield, UK.
