The new DTF16 Haze Control from optek-Danulat is a precise, inline turbidity measuring system featuring a triple-beam optical design. Sensitive forward scatter (11degree) and standard side scatter (90degree) measuring angles allow the DTF16 to measure a broad range of particles that contribute to turbidity and fine haze in the line. A combination of precise scattering light optics and optimised sensor body geometry prevents external or internal stray light from affecting the measurement. Tthe DTF16 features a drift-free factory zero point and drift-free calibration. The sensor body is constructed of sanitary stainless steel and is suitable for CIP/SIP. Welding armatures are available in nominal sizes of DN50 – DN125. Weld ends allow adaptation to any pipe/tube standard. The DTF16 provides a measurement that is suitable for filter control applications such as final QA/QC in package release lines. The DTF16 works well with other optek instruments such as the dual channel TF16 turbidimeter and DT9011 lab turbidimeter.
