Dragados wins Pemex platform contract

Spain’s Grupo Dragados was been awarded a USD 200 million contract by Mexican state-owned energy conglomerate Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) to build an offshore oil platform, according to a report in Mexican financial daily El Economista. Dragados recently has completed three major construction projects for Pemex at the company’s Cantarell oilfield, El Economista business columnist Tomas de la Rosa reported. Construction work on the platform is expected to be completed within two years, according to the report.
