Established in 1949 started as a distributor and stockist of fittings, in 1988 Raccortubi Group set up Tecninox Srl, a company producing butt-weld fittings in stainless steel and special alloys, in order to achieve a greater autonomy regarding suppliers and to cope with market requirements.
The modern complex of Marcallo con Casone, where the management, the offices and the warehouse of Raccortubi Group is located, covers an area of over 25,000 sq. mtrs, of which 10,000 square metres is kept for the stock.
The business of Raccortubi Group thus includes both the production of butt-weld fittings (made by Tecninox) and the stocking and supply of wide range of piping materials: BW fittings, pipes, tubes and flanges in stainless steel; BW fittings and pipes in duplex, superduplex, 6MO (254SMO®), 904L and other special grades, carbon steel & alloy and low-temperature BW fittings.
Additionally Raccortubi offers complete packages for Engineering Companies which include carbon and alloy steel pipes, forged fittings (socket weld and screwed), gaskets, stud bolts and nuts, specially designed pieces in every type of steel and size.
Raccortubi Group operates with the quality certification ISO 9001 obtained through Lloyd’s Register. Over the years, Tecninox production has obtained further homologations including compliance with the PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) and various End Users’ approvals.
