De Marchi investment in bar chamfering technology

The fully automatic CNC bar chamfering machine from J&S Engineering is specifically designed for the mass-produced stud bolt/fastener industry.
De Marchi Engineering in Wiltshire, recently invested in the ASC76 automatic bar chamfering machine. The specific requirement for this machine is to chamfer stainless steel thread bolts. In addition to this, they also wanted to be able to simultaneously internally and externally chamfer tube. To accommodate this requirement, a special tool (tube chamfering head) was made and supplied with the machine which makes the functions interchangeable.
The ASC76 bar chamfering machine is capable of chamfering a full range of materials including duplex, super duplex, Inconel, titanium, stainless steel, and Hastelloy.
As a high volume, compact, portable, production machine, the ASC76 has been expertly engineered for chamfering and ending mass-produced parts at high speed. Offering chamfering, over-turning and chamfering and stud rod chamfering bar capabilities as standard with cycle times as low as 2.5 seconds per operation.
