Aperam’s new cut-to-length line is now fully operational at its Isbergues’ site (France).
This represents a capital expenditure of EUR 2.5M for the Isbergues’ site. Doubling the cut-to-length capacity and enhancing its capability will allow the Isbergues’ service center to better address the needs of its customers in stainless steel sheets for short reaction time on a wider range of products. In addition to a new digital integration, the line will enable the Isbergues SSC to cover the full range of cold and hot products, in particular sheets with surface finishing in 2B, BA and polished.
