Cote d’Ivoire contract

BJ Tubular Services has been awarded a contract by CNR International (Cote d’Ivoire) S.A.R.L., a subsidiary of Canadian Natural Resources, to provide a range of well services offshore Cote d’Ivoire, Africa. The two-year contract provides for casing and tubing running services and onshore bucking services for all 11 wells on CNR’s Baobab Development. BJ Tubular Services commenced operations on the multi-million dollar contract in November on behalf of CNR, with all related services being provided by BJ Tubular Services personnel and equipment based at the division’s facilities in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The scope of work includes running 13% chrome tubular completions that will be run from a semi-submersible rig in water depths of up to 4000 feet.
