Nickel alloy specialist, Corrotherm International, continues to expand its global reach, with the announcement of a new office in the industrial, port city of Dalian, situated in Liaoning province of North East China.
This is the fifth office Corrotherm has set up in the past twelve months. In June, the company opened its new regional head office in Perth, Australia, with the aim of expanding its service within the Asia-Pacific market.
The company’s China operation will have a business development focus, building on the success of Corrotherm’s existing client base in the country. It will be supported by the regional head office in Perth, which will oversee all project contracts and logistical requirements.
Speaking of the office opening, Martyn Nuttall, Managing Director for Corrotherm International said, “The Asia-Pacific region is our biggest growing market, and the Dalian office will enable us to offer a more comprehensive and personalised service to customers in the area. It will also facilitate our maximising opportunities in the expanding Chinese market.”
The new office will be manned by Country Manager, Mrs Rose Ding, whose experience in the chemical, mineral, and urea industries, and extensive knowledge of Corrotherm’s main core Alloy stock grades of materials, will be of great benefit to Corrotherm’s clients in China. “Having a local presence in a country where we operate, is of enormous benefit,” Martyn said, “especially when it enables us to respond quickly and effectively to our clients’ requirements in their own language, and with first-hand experience of their area and local industry. Rose’s degree in International Economy and Trade, and overseas experience in the industry, will be extremely beneficial, as we develop the Chinese and regional market.”
Mrs Rose Ding will be managing Corrotherm’s newest office in Dalian, China.
