Stainless Steel World is extremely proud to announce that we have a fully-fledged CRA expert in our midst. Nicole Nagel – who will be familiar to many people as an enthusiastic member of our sales team – has successfully passed the “Basic Course in Stainless Steels”.
This course is regularly organized by the Dutch Steel Federation and comprises four separate half-day sessions. During the course, theoretical topics such as material grades, welding, certification, etc, are covered in quite some depth.
Nicole was invited to take part by the Federation’s General Manager, Mr Rob Greve, when he saw how much Nicole wanted to develop her knowledge about steels.
Says Nicole: “Thanks to the course, I can now discuss topics such as materials selection, case histories, etc, in much more depth with clients. I can really recommend this course to everyone, especially newcomers in the field.”
Nicole adds that the presenters are all highly seasoned engineers and marketing staff, offering years of industry expertise. The course was concluded with an examination, which Nicole passed with flying colours.
In conclusion, Nicole says she enjoyed all the sessions but especially the final afternoon, when participants were let loose with plenty of metal to make some works of art!
