Clough to build New Guinea refinery.

InterOil Corp has chosen Clough Niugini Ltd for a contract to build what is touted as the first oil refinery in Papua New Guinea. The facility will be erected at Port Moresby and is scheduled for completion and start-up in late 2003. The project will incorporate a jetty with ship loading and unloading facilities, utility systems with steam and power generation, site infrastructure and support facilities. Clough’s contract is valued at USD83 milliom, although the entire project cost is USD204 million.
