Protex (Redditch, UK) has introduced its Bandclamp™ for clamping rubber tubes in the food and drink processing industries. It is a Protex overcentre, lever-action fastener mounted on a flexible stainless-steel band manufactured to the diameter required. The Bandclamp model 27-633/PBC secures white silicone rubber tubes for drink vending machines. This simple platform type with spring claw, in stainless steel for use in the strictly hygienic, washdown, food procesing environment, offers custom band diameters from 110mm down to 40mm.
