An announcement was recently made by the Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation that Mr. Kinya Yanagawa would retire from Director, Member of the Board and would be appointed as Executive Advisor at the end of the 92nd Annual Shareholders Meeting scheduled to be held in late June 2016. This is to declare that his expected position after retirement from Director, Member of the Board has been changed to the Director and Vice-President and Executive Officer of Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd., to be appointed in late June 2016.
