The new Origo/Aristo range of CC/CV welding machines from ESAB enables all types of stainless and mild steel to be welded, together with a range of other materials with plate thicknesses of 0.5mm and up. The TA24 control panel enables the heat input and the weld pool of pulsed TIG welding to be controlled. The TA23 control panel has a function where the welder sets the plate thickness and the control panel automatically sets the suitable welding parameters These MIG welding machines are compact 400A power sources with chassis made from galvanised steel, a material that withstands rough treatment. ESAB Logicpump automatically starts the cooling water pump in the machine when a water-cooled torch is connected, which eliminates the risk of overheating the welding torch. When a self-cooled torch is used the pump automatically shuts off, which reduces noise and extends the life of the pump. When used with the Aristo U8 controller the welder can store up to 255 weld parameters. Origo Arc 4001i, with either the A22 or A24 control panel, is designed to weld most metals from alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stainless steel, including duplex stainless steel, and cast iron.
