Chevron-Texaco merger approved

Chevron Corp. and Texaco Inc. have confirmed that the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has approved a consent order that will allow the two companies to complete their previously announced merger.

Chevron moves HQ

Chevron Corp. has announced plans to move its headquarters from San Francisico to San Ramon, California, where its Chevron Park campus (and other nearby buildings at Bishop Ranch) already houses most of its Bay Area-based operations and some 3500 employees.

UK buys first commercial fuel cell

International Fuel Cells, a unit of United Technologies Corp., has announced the sale of a fuel cell system that will power a recreational centre in Woking, England, and be the first commercial fuel cell operating in the United Kingdom.
