Allegheny announces price increases

Sasol and Qatar Petroleum have awarded a USD 675 million EPC contract to Technip-Coflexip of Italy for the construction of the world’s largest and most advanced natural gas-to-liquid (GTL) plant.

Invensys APV in Canada has won a USD 3 million order for the supply of Paraflow Plate Heat Exchanger units from Enwave, the project owner and successor to the Toronto District Heating Corporation.
Bulgarian hydro
An Alstom-led consortium has won a EUR 15 million contract for rehabilitation of two hydroelectric power plants, Orfeus (4 x 40mw) and Krichim (2 x 40mw) by Bulgarian Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania EAD (NEK).

KFx Inc. and Arch Coal, Inc. have announced that KFx and Arch Western Resources, LLC, a subsidiary of Arch Coal, have reached an agreement to pursue the development of a 700,000 tpy K-Fuel Plus(TM) plant.
