OMB awarded Sakhalin II LNG package
The joint venture of Chiyoda and Toyo Engineering, together with their Russian partner companies, the KhimEnergo Consortium and NIPIgaspererabotka, has awarded OMB Valves the order to supply all forged steel valves for the Sakhalin II Liquefied Natural Gas plant.
Yusco to start stainless project by 2005
Taiwanese stainless steel giant Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco) expects to start its 2.4 million mt/year hot-rolled stainless steel project and 800,000mt/year steel smelting project in Huangpu district in China's Guangzhou city by the end of 2008.
