ConocoPhillips spinoff to close in 2Q 2012
ConocoPhillips (COP) expects to complete the spinoff of its refining arm in the second quarter of 2012. Under the deal, stockholders will receive one share in the new refining company for every two ConocoPhillips shares they presently own.

Hatcher appointed MD for Acciona in Australia
Acciona Agua has appointed Simon Hatcher as managing director the company in Australia, effective 8 August 2011. Hatcher will succeed Jose Maria Ortega, who will return to the Acciona head office in Madrid and retain overall responsibility for Acciona Agua's business in Australia, which presently includes construction of the Adelaide Desalination Plant.
