Stamicarbon wins contracts for Erdos urea plant

Stamicarbon has been awarded two contracts for a new urea plant with Inner Mongolia Erdos Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. China. Stamicarbon is the Licensing and IP Center of Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. One of the contracts is for the license and process design package and the other is for supply of the high-pressure proprietary equipment for the plant.

Rosneft and ExxonMobil team up for Siberian oil pr

newsitemRosneft and ExxonMobil have signed a Pilot Development Agreement for a joint project to assess the possibility of commercial production of tight oil reserves at the Bazhenov and Achimov formations in Western Siberia. Under the joint venture, the companies will run a pilot program for potential commercial production at Rosneft’s 23 license blocks covering a total area of more than 10,000 square kilometers.

Subsea 7 awarded Lianzi topside contract

Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded an EPCI topside contract valued at approximately $150 million from Chevron for the development of the Lianzi Field offshore the Republic of Congo and Angola. The scope of work includes a 200 mT module hosting a high voltage generation system for the new subsea Direct Electrically Heated pipeline cable, an 80 mT flow meter deck extension, and various upgrades on the platform.
