Carpenter Technology Corp. has announced that Greg Pratt, Vice Chairman and a Director of OAO Technology Solutions Inc., has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors. Carpenter now has 14 directors on its board, 12 of them outsiders. Pratt, 53, joined OAOT, an information technology (IT) solutions and professional services company based in Greenbelt, Md., in 1998 as President and CEO. OAOT acquired a software engineering firm that Pratt had founded, Enterprise Technology Group, that year. Pratt was named Vice Chairman of OAOT in April and is now responsible for corporate development. Mr Pratt is a Director of Elderport Inc., a healthcare software solutions firm, and the US Chess Center, a non-profit educational concern.
