BUTTING: from function to process-oriented organization

In recent years, BUTTING in Knesebeck has carried out internal restructuring to move from a function-oriented to a process-oriented organization. The strategy project “Organisation into Business Units” (OiG) was completed by 31 December 2021. Based on the sales orientation and the findings from the optimized processes, a new organizational structure with four business units (BU) and two central units (CU) was established. In the course of the organizational change, all four head of BU positions have been filled.

Going forward, responsibility will lie with the following people: Henning Lütkemüller, BU Stainless steel welded pipes; Marc Brauße, BU Clad pipes; Dieter Kleen, BU Spools and plant construction; Jörn Kubiak, BU Customised components.

These four business units are led by Norbert Heinzle, while the two central units are led by managing directors Dirk Meinecke and Thomas Schüller.
