Business integration of Nippon Steel and Nisshin Koki

Nippon Steel Texeng Co., Ltd a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Steel Corporation and Nippon Steel Nisshin Koki Co., Ltd a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Steel Nisshin Co., Ltd have agreed on their business integration to be implemented in July 2020. Both companies are engaged in the design, construction, and maintenance of steelmaking facilities.

Nippon Steel Texeng and Nippon Steel Nisshin Koki have collaborated since 2017 when Nippon Steel Nisshin became a subsidiary of Nippon Steel. Through business integration, the two companies will consolidate their respective operating resources they have developed so far and pursue maximizing synergies. These will contribute to rebuilding Nippon Steel Group’s strength in manufacturing and enhancing its competitiveness.
