The UK-based heating, piping and fittings distributor BSS is providing energy-efficient solutions through its Caradon Ideal Boilers and KITZ ball valves, designed to meet rapidly changing legal requirements and maintenance costs as a result of the recently introduced Climate Change Levy (CCL). Some of the latest Caradon Ideal Boilers can reduce gas consumption by up to 50%, compared with older versions. The installation of these boilers would therefore qualify for tax relief under the new Climate Change legislation. Similarly, the installation of condensing and high-efficiency boilers has the advantage of using less fuel to create optimum useable heat compared with other models. Condensing and high-efficiency boilers can significantly reduce the heat wasted in flue gas losses and by operating at optimum efficiency.
