Bolter Miners for Shendong coal operations

Sandvik Mining & Construction has been awarded an order from China Shenhua Energy’s Shendong coal production centre. The contract includes a total of 7 low profile Sandvik Bolter Miners MB670 to be supplied to the operation during 2010, with delivery commencing in May 2010. The MB670 is equipped to simultaneously cut a rectangular shaped roadway and install roof and rib bolts. It can be operated at top speeds in modern development layouts thanks to its ability to cut and install roof support in simultaneous operations.
