Another iron ore deposit at Roper Bar

Western Desert Resources has announced that assay results from drilling at its flagship Roper Bar Iron Ore Project in the Northern Territory of Australia have identified a new deposit at Area E.  The high grade Beneficiable ore zone is sub-horizontal at shallow depth and a maiden JORC resource Mineral Estimate is due later this year. In 2009 a brief drilling program resulted in three JORC compliant Mineral Resource Estimates at Areas D, E and F. At Area F the initial resource was 14 MT 49% Fe with a high grade DSO core of 7 MT 59% Fe.
