International Steel Group (ISG) has selected V5 Suite Annealing Optimisation Software from Entec Systems International Inc. for its Indiana Harbor facility. Installation of the Entec thermal modelling and scheduling system will increase ISG’s cold roll capacity and product consistency through optimisation of annealing cycles and asset utilisation. The system is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2003.
