Allegheny Ludlum raises prices

Allegheny Ludlum, an Allegheny Technologies company, will increase prices by approximately 4–6% on all stainless steel continuous-mill-plate (CMP) flat-rolled products that are 50 inches wide or less. This price increase is to be accomplished through a reduction of discounts by 3 percentage points and is effective with 6 April 2002 shipments to both service centres and end-use customers. The current raw material surcharge formula remains in
effect.
