Abu Dhabi pipeline

According to local reports, Dolphin Energy Ltd (DEL) has plans to construct a gas pipeline, and is considering further investment in the UAE and Gulf gas sectors. The Gulf News reports that the government has approved a proposal from DEL to develop a gas pipeline stretching from Al Ain to Fujairah. Speaking at a conference on the Development of Gas Markets in the Gulf , Khaldoon Al Mubarak, member of DEL’s executive committee said: “The plan is to link Maqta near Abu Dhabi to Al Ain and supply gas from Al Ain to Fujairah where the UAE Offsets Group (UOG) is developing a power and desalination plant.â€? The official added that DEL was aiming to use gas from sources other than Oman.
