MKN uses Aperam infinite™ for its SteelPlus option

Aperam, a global player in stainless, electrical and specialty steel and recycling, announced that customer MKN, a major provider of professional and innovative cooking technology, will use Aperam infinite™ near-zero carbon premium stainless steel for its new SteelPlus option.

Aperam infinite® is characterized by a reduction of over 40% in CO2e emissions.

Another important aspect is that Aperam infinite® is made using 98% scrap content, which further underlines the sustainability of MKN’s SteelPlus option.

All this enables users to actively optimize their carbon footprint and meet the increasing demands for sustainable practices and technologies in commercial kitchens.

SteelPlus, made from Aperam infinite® near-zero carbon footprint stainless steel, is available for MKN’s combi-steamer and FlexiChef products.
