The methodology used by EcoVadis is based on international sustainability standards and supervised by a scientific community of sustainability and supply chain experts.
Alleima has a relatively low climate footprint from operations due to the use of recycled steel (~83%) and fossil-free electricity in production facilities and is committed to minimizing its social and environmental impact through reducing its water usage, careful chemical management, and effective use of by-products such as slag, dust, and process gases.
EcoVadis rates performance of 21 sustainability criteria, in four themes: environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
