Outokumpu Corporation has announced the appointment of Kati ter Horst as its new President and CEO, effective by October 9, 2024, at the latest. Ter Horst, who holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Economics, will assume her role at the company’s headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.
Ter Horst transitions to Outokumpu from Aliaxis S.A., a global leader in fluid management systems, where she has been serving as the Divisional CEO for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa since 2022. Her extensive experience in the industry includes a notable tenure at Stora Enso, where she most recently led the paper division. Having been a member of the Outokumpu Board of Directors since 2016 and Vice Chairman since 2022, ter Horst will resign from the Board at the end of September 2024.
