Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) has signed a contract with Ciech Soda Deutschland GmbH & Co.KG for the construction of a turnkey crystallization plant.
CAC has overall responsibility for the implementation of all phases of order implementation of the plant in Stassfurt, starting from basic engineering over the entire detail engineering, procurement, logistics and installation through to commissioning and turnkey handover. The particular challenge for the engineers in Chemnitz will be to integrate the plant into the existing plant complex.
With the new crystallization plant, Ciech Soda Deutschland is expanding its portfolio for the production of sodium hydrogen carbonate in pharmaceutical grade.
After commissioning, the production plant in Stassfurt will produce 110,000 tonnes of sodium hydrogen carbonate per year.
