The first coil of QP1180GA steel from Baosteel’s exclusive QP series was delivered from the production line successfully.
QP1180GA steel plate is of ultra-high-strength steel with 1200 MPa above. It has more than 15% of high ductility rate. It realized alloyed zinc layer on high-strength steel plates with level of above 980MPa for the first time, and displays better performances in terms of welding, coating, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. It provides strong supports for developing lightweight vehicles and realization of energy saving and emission reduction during the service life cycle of autos.
