GIPI delivers pipes for Daleel Petroleum project

Gulf International Pipe Industry, the first manufacturer of 8 to 24 high pressure carbon steel pipes in Oman and part of global pipe manufacturer TMK, has completed delivery of API 5L X52 line pipes for Daleel Petroleum.

Daleel is one of the leading oil producing companies in the Sultanate. In a span of 10 years, the company successfully raised the production from 4,300bopd to a significant record of approximately 40,000bopd.

The expansion activities witnessed in Daleel are evident in the increasing number of drilling rigs as well as upgrading of field facilities; to meet the projected production level of 50,000 bopd in the next couple of years. The pipes supplied by GIPI come in line with the expansion plans for Natih Project.
The extended length of 18-meter pipe, rather than a standard length of 12 meters significantly reduces the end user’s construction costs by over 30% on welding, NDT and other associated costs as well as substantial improvements in the speed of project execution.
