Baosteel Co Ltd Steel Tube Business Unit’s total accumulative production volume of HFW welded tube has recently amounted to over 1 million tonnes. Thus the line has become the 1st single unit heavy caliber HFW line that broke through the production volume of one million tons domestically. Baosteel is the first domestic whole flow iron and steel joint enterprise that entered into the field of HFW welded tube manufacturing. The Baosteel HFW welded tube production line started production on 27 October 2005. The design annual yield is 300,000tns. Products include pipeline pipe, casing, carrier pipe and structural pipe which can be widely used in the construction of project construction and oil-gas field both at home and abroad. The HFW line is an integration of advanced technology and processes of molding technology, high power welding, non-destructive testing technique, and welding seam double heat treatment, etc.
