New SS developed

Japanese Daido Steel Co. has announced that it has developed a stainless steel with the world’s highest level of corrosion resistance. Further details on the product are not available. The Nagoya-based steelmaker will market the new stainless steel, to be used in automobile components, edged tools and chemical plants, starting in fiscal 2007.
