Ms Päivi Lindqvist has been appointed the new SVP – IR and Communications at Outokumpu, as of 1 October 2007. She will join the company on 13 August 2007. Ms Lindqvist will report to CEO Juha Rantanen. She currently works in TietoEnator as EVP – Communications and Investor Relations.The current SVP – IR and Communications Kari Lassila will, until he retires, assume the position of SVP – Senior Advisor reporting to the CEO. In the interim, it has been decided also that the IR and Communications function will start reporting to CEO Juha Rantanen, as of 1 June 2007. The current IR and Communications organization will continue as before. Reporting to Ms Lindqvist will be Eero Mustala, SVP – Corporate Communications and Ingela Ulfves, VP – Investor Relations.
