The first in a new series of online CPD presentations on stainless steel is now available to architects and other construction professionals through IVOX, a web-based broadcasting medium, which allows the presentation to be streamed over the Internet to multiple users on
demand. Certified by the Construction CPD Certification Service, the presentation is the first in a series developed by the British Stainless Steel Association and the Nickel Development Institute for architects and other construction professionals. Entitled “An Introduction to Stainless Steel”, the presentation provides advice on selecting and specifying stainless steel grades and finishes and is illustrated with examples of typical architectural and constructional applications. To date, nearly 100 seminars have taken place throughout the UK since the stainless steel CPD programme was set up three years ago by the BSSA and NiDI.
