Xiamen Xiangyu Group’s SS smelting integrated project

Xiamen Xiangyu Group’s invested 2.5 million-ton stainless steel smelting integrated project is currently doing active production in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

A minister at Xiangyu Group’s PT Obsidian Stainless Steel (OSS) said China, a major stainless steel producer, has to rely on imported raw materials, and Indonesia, with rich laterite nickel ores and labor resources, has a shortage of infrastructure. Therefore, the combination of the two countries’ advantages can develop the industry together and make it bigger.

In addition, the minister said Xiangyu Group also built a provincial highway from the project location to the local airport, shortening the drive to 50 minutes from 2 hours.
