X-ray fluorescence spectrometers from Philips

Philips Analytical (Almelo, The Netherlands) is highlighting its spectrum of XRF solutions for the plastics industry at Addplast 2002 (Brussels, Belgium 9–11 April 2002, booth number 508). Philips Analytical will be showing its product line of instruments designed for the plastics industry, from research to recycling through production and quality control.
The MagiX or MagiX PRO XRF spectrometers from Philips Analytical offer solutions for the analysis of just a few elements, easy integration in LIMS, high sample throughput, and working according to ASTM norms. With its fourth generation electronics and extended SuperQ software with modules such as IQ+ (standardless analysis), FastScan and Pro-Trace (trace analysis) these XRF systems even go below sub-ppm levels and complete measurements in less than 1-2 minutes. For measuring Sb and Br and other comparable heavy elements the software has an integrated finite thickness calculation which ensures that these elements are easily and accurately determined.
