The board of directors of the World Steel Association recently elected new officers for 2018-2019 at the worldsteel General Assembly in Tokyo.
The new officers are elected for a one-year period – the new officers include Chairman: André Johannpeter ; Executive Vice Chairman, Gerdau S.A.; Vice Chairman: Yu Yong, Chairman, HBIS Group Co., Ltd.; Vice Chairman: Kosei Shindo, President, Representative Director, Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC); and Treasurer: Sajjan Jindal, Chairman and Managing Director, JSW Steel Limited.
