Wood Group CFO Alan Semple announced his plans to retire and step down from his current role and from the board after the company’s annual general meeting in May 2015. Semple has held senior financial roles with Wood Group for almost 19 years and has been CFO and a member of the board since 2000. David Kemp, CFO of Wood Group PSN will succeed Semple and will join the board as an executive director following the 2015 annual general meeting.
The board is also creating a new role of COO. Robin Watson, currently CEO of Wood Group PSN is to be appointed COO during the first half of 2015 with responsibility for the three strategic business units – Wood Group PSN, Wood Group Mustang and Wood Group Kenny.
