Winner Outstanding Service Award

One of the UK’s leading engineering, safety and risk consultancies, announced that Dr Martin Wall, one of its Principal Materials Engineers, has been given an Outstanding Service Award by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM³). The award recognises significant contributions to the Institute made through a local group or affiliated society and the recipient is normally an Institute member who has held a position as an officer of a local committee for at least eight years.

“Dr. Martin has been providing a sterling service as Secretary of the Oxford Materials Society for the past 15 years,” said Sarah Boad, National Coordinator of the IOM³. “By taking the lead on organising lecture evenings, managing the Society’s website and working tirelessly to make the Society the success it is today, he thoroughly deserves his award.”
