WELTEC BIOPOWER receives an award

“The ‘Made in Germany’ label is a special cachet and thus an export driver.â€? With these words, Lower Saxony‘s Minister of the Economy, Olaf Lies conferred the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award. The so-called “export Oscar of the North“ was awarded for the eighth time on 26 April 2017 at the Foreign Trade Conference held at the Hannover Messe, the world‘s largest industrial trade show. The German biogas plant manufacturer WELTEC BIOPOWER was among the Top Five in the category of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).

WELTEC BIOPOWER has built first biogas plant outside Germany back in 2003. Meanwhile, more than 300 WELTEC plants have been set up in 25 countries on five continents.

The company’s management agrees that profound quality awareness and attractive location conditions are important factors that support the export-oriented company‘s dynamics and success.

The company constantly works on new products and optimisation approaches. Also, the good financial condition has enabled it to engage in research and development.
