Well services in Indonesia

BJ Tubular Services has been awarded a contract to provide services in Indonesia by Total E & P Indonesie. The contract award provides for well services, including casing and tubing running, on Total’s assets in Tunu, Tambora and Peciko fields located offshore Balikpapan, Indonesia. The two-year contract requires BJ Tubular Services to run tubulars, particularly CRA tubulars, for four offshore rigs. BJ Tubular Services will run production tubing of 13% chrome steel. To ensure that the operation is completed safely and efficiently, BJ Tubular Services will use the full Chromemaster™ minimal marking CRA non-ferrous tubular handling package: Chromemaster power tongs, specially modified screen liner running tongs, slips and support table, in addition to the Loadmaster™ single joint compensator system and the use of environmentally-friendly pipe dope.
