Weiler Abrasives Group, a provider of abrasives, power brushes, and maintenance products for surface conditioning, has appointed Bill Dwyre as Managing Director of the newly formed Americas business. This promotion, part of a larger restructuring, supports the integration of the âgame changingâ? acquisition of Swatycomet in late 2015, launching the company into the global abrasive market space. Dwyre joined Weiler in 2013 as the VP of Strategic Marketing after a 25-year career at Ingersoll Rand. Most recently Dwyre held the position of VP -Sales and Marketing. As a MD, Americas Dwyre is responsible for executing the regional growth strategy and has full accountability for the regionâs P&L. He continues to report to the Chief Executive Officer, Chris Weiler.
